Outside of Goshen, Tom enjoys gardening and spending time with his wife and two daughters which usually includes training in TaeKwonDo.

About Tom

Tom has over 20 years’ experience as an educator, education researcher and adjunct faculty and currently is a Director for Goshen Consulting. He received his bachelor’s degree in physics from the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana and his master’s degree in physics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with an emphasis on education research. Prior to joining Goshen, he taught science in a public high school with the additional roles of STEM club sponsor, vertical alignment team lead and department chair as well as the occasional course at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

 

At Goshen, he continues to support STEM education through program evaluation and working with agencies to elevate all educators. Tom brings his data analysis and visualization skills as well as deep insight in education to all projects he is involved in. He continues to develop through active involvement in the American Evaluation Association and is the current chair for the STEM Topical Interest Group (TIG).
