Michaela Echols, M.S.Ed.

Michaela is a Research Assistant at Goshen. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies and Global Affairs from the University of Notre Dame (2021) and a Master of Science in Education in International Educational Development from the University of Pennsylvania (2022). Her academic background focuses on the experiences of racial minorities, ESL students, and teachers in American education, as well as the economic returns of education and strategies to address upper-secondary student dropout in Latin America.

 

Michaela brings experience in data analytics, research, and grant and program management across the government, nonprofit, and private sectors. She has worked on projects in diverse locations, collaborating with pre-K providers, community schools, and adult education programs. Her dedication to social justice drives her to apply her skills to address complex educational challenges in her current role.
